Our story
Emaar Al-Buroj was established in 2017 by a group of experienced Iraqi engineers and industry specialists who saw the same problem repeatedly: projects delayed by unreliable supply, unclear scopes and contractors who disappeared after handover.
We built the company as the answer to that. Today we operate across contracting, general trading and public transportation, holding an official government licence under Tax ID 901010599 and accreditation from numerous ministries alongside public and private sector organisations.
Our work spans large-scale contracting projects, industrial procurement, specialised oil and gas supply, solar energy systems and building security infrastructure — with offices in Baghdad, Erbil and Kirkuk.

Ownership
Akrma Ahmed Salman founded Emaar Al-Buroj in 2017 and continues to own and direct the company. His standard is the one the business runs on: commit only to what can be delivered, then deliver it.
Across contracting, trading, logistics, oil and gas, and energy, he holds every division to the same measure — accountable scopes, honest pricing and support that continues after handover.
He began with a small contracting crew and a single principle: be on site, know the work, and answer for it personally. That practice has not changed as the company grew into a multi-division group — he still reviews scopes before they are priced and visits sites while they are live.
His approach to growth is conservative by design. Divisions are added only when the company can staff and equip them properly, and clients are kept rather than won — most of the work comes from repeat engagements and direct referral.
He remains directly reachable to clients and partners. Scope, schedule and cost questions reach him without passing through layers, which is how commitments stay realistic and decisions stay fast.
